The sliding fronts are the expressive nexus of this elegant wall-mounted floating console: dynamic and dramatic elements come to life via artisanal processes which create depth on metal and play with light and its reflections. The surfaces capture and cast light in infinite ways, never the same twice, turning the act of opening into a visual and tactile experience. The top, vertical profiles and lower surface create a slender floating frame which exalts the texture of the ‘rolling shutters’ that run along the elliptical perimeter of the console, revealing two spacious shelves lacquered in a deep Burgundy hue on the inside.
