Two worlds that seem distant, yet in an alchemical weave, they merge into a new reality. Ordita, the latest research by De Castelli, explores the transformation of the softness of the textile weave into volume, thickness, and reflection. Six new surfaces, created in collaboration with Evelina Antuono, transform textile depth into metal reflections, opening new material perspectives. The metal tells its story, yet something is still hidden, waiting to take shape.
Thanks to the synergy between technology and craftsmanship, De Castelli advances an experimental process in which metal becomes malleable and almost organic. Oxidation, hammering and satin finishes create dynamic surfaces in which reflections and textures evolve into a multi-sensory experience.
