De Castelli presents its first Sustainability Report: an important milestone that reaffirms its commitment to the values that have guided the company’s four-generation history and its intention to reinterpret them in light of the challenges of the contemporary world.
The goal of the Sustainability Report is to share the commitment to ESG topics that began several years ago, supported also by the insights gained through participation in the Sustainability Group of Confindustria Veneto Est.
Albino Celato, Founder and CEO, states: «For us, sustainability is neither a passing trend nor a form of compliance with externally imposed obligations, but rather an added value in the way we conduct business, rooted in two pillars: strategic vision and concrete project development. With this first significant step, we place future objectives at the center, starting with the amendment of our statute to become a Benefit Corporation in 2026 and to define our commitment to creating and redistributing value for all stakeholders, in a dimension that goes beyond pure profit and toward shared values.»
The Sustainability Report summarizes the dialogue and engagement process that the company has undertaken both internally, where a cross-functional ESG team has been created, and externally, through a series of planned engagement initiatives involving stakeholders such as employees, suppliers, designers, customers, agents, and the local community. The document offers a comprehensive overview of the company’s commitment, reporting on the process De Castelli has implemented to integrate sustainability organically into its development plan, in the definition of governance tools, in the evaluation of investment priorities, and in the setting of medium-term goals.
The document also clarifies how this strategic asset is taking shape through concrete projects and activities that accompany and transform the way new ideas are developed, production is carried out, work is organized, and relationships with various groups of people are managed on a daily basis.
