ResidentialWhat began with a “Stübli” (a cosy parlour) for the new villa in Luxembourg became fully project with a holisticdesign concept. There is a truly unique “Art de Vivre” that can be felt as soon as you step into the impressive entrance thanks to selected materials and design details specially developed for the project.

The fine metal frames that edge the niches, the kitchen fronts, the chimney and wall cladding systems made by De Castelli in a personalized stainless steel finishing create a continuum stylistic fil rouge with the cozy design. The result is a feel-good cosmos that lives in harmony with the seasons.

Project specifications
Boiserie & Scomposta

The distinctive metamorphic capacities of metal create their own stylistic patterns even on the simplest of monochrome surfaces. The possibilities offered by the Scomposta and Boiserie wall covering systems ensure a range of highly flexible compositional solutions and meet the needs of those seeking truly original expressive possibilities of the highest quality. Comprising panels of different sizes, the two systems are fully customizable. With the Scomposta system, the panels are mounted onto wall racks. For Boiserie, it is possible to install wooden or aluminum panels covered with De Castelli materials. Whatever the solution chosen by the designer, both systems allow maximum compositional freedom to ennoble surfaces of any size.

Aare wall

Aare wall lamp is perfect for both internal and external spaces, producing an interplay of light and shadow thus creating an elegant and welcoming atmosphere. The wall lamp is characterized by metal elements with a particular design, taking inspiration from the natural erosion caused by the last ice age in the Aare Gorge, in Switzerland. Here, a river originated from melting glaciers once carved deep into the rock, cutting to its core. Thus, little by little, light began working its way into the cracks, amid ancient limestone stratifications. Thanks to a centre slit, these lamps take on the archetypical form of earthly geography sculpted by ice, reproducing its prehistoric beauty, as if they were forged centuries ago.
