Filigrana

Formal rigour and expressive graphic style intertwine in Filigrana, an elegantly designed work of art composed of hexagonal copper pieces in the DeBatì finish, overlapped by diamond grid. The diamond-shaped elements are enriched with alternated contrast tinning which illuminates the piece, amplified by the subsequent flaming of the surface. The sum of the hand-crafted processes and alternated oxidations gives rise to a dynamic and three-dimensional composition in which light and texture are juxtaposed.

Filigrana comes in the DeBatì finish, which evolved within the Ordita research. Designed by textile artist Evelina Antuono and developed by De Castelli, the lightness of fabric meets the expressive strength of metal.
