Desk receptionThe ticket office of the Sansevero Chapel Museum in Naples — home to the breathtaking Veiled Christ among its treasures — has been reimagined and clad in the refined finishes and precious materials of De Castelli, as if even the threshold to wonder itself had been given a work of art, permettendo alla sala di trasformarsi e donando raffinatezza ed eleganza.

De Castelli DeErosion finish has been custom-designed with a labyrinthine pattern inspired by the 18th-century marble floor conceived by Prince Raimondo di Sangro for the Chapel. Defined by a single, uninterrupted line that unfolds without beginning or end, this distinctive motif draws on the classical tradition while evoking a rich network of symbolic and historical references.

The bespoke DeErosion brass finish is seamlessly integrated into the desk’s geometry, allowing the labyrinthine pattern to flow continuously across every surface.

This exceptional continuity highlights De Castelli’s mastery of metalworking, as the motif is reproduced with absolute precision throughout the entire piece. Every junction and corner has been meticulously designed and developed, demonstrating the company’s technical expertise and advanced artisanal skills. The result is a refined, uninterrupted cladding that lends the desk the sculptural presence of a single monolithic object.
