Para-Vimento

For the 2023 Doppia Firma conceived by Fondazione Cologni and Living Corriere della Sera and presented by the Michelangelo Foundation for Creativity and Craftsmanship in Palazzo Litta, De Castelli is with the eclectic Giampiero Bodino who brings his expertise in fine jewellery to the creation of Para-Vimento.

The extraordinary screen features inlays and oxidizations on stainless steel, copper and brass, which re-imagine the floor decorations of Palazzo Litta. The result is a perfect fusion of artistic culture, innovative creativity and exceptional craftsmanship.

The finishes play with each other, making the vertical planes that make up the four mobile elements vibrate with reflections, edged with an unexpected contrasting fluorescent shade.

Para-Vimento represents the meeting between artistic culture, high craftsmanship and creative reinterpretation of an object of memory, which thus acquires renewed value in the dimension of contemporary living to define the spaces within increasingly multifunctional free-plan environments.
