Robin is a design object created in a limited edition of 15 pieces which represents a table on which a large draped tablecloth is spread and moved by a light breeze. A curious brass robin bursts into the scene, lifting an edge of the fabric and revealing the leg of the table, emphasizing the fantastic nature of the tale with irony and lightness.
The scene is immortalized in the preciousness of brass: the table is entirely made of a brushed brass sheet, sinuously modeled and curved thanks to De Castelli’s expert craftsmanship to simulate the movement of the fabric.
