DeErosion
Handcrafted finishing realised through a special controlled erosion technique, designed and developed by De Castelli for indoor use only. The versatile artistry amplifies the vibrations of metal, enhancing its uniqueness with extraordinarily three-dimensional effects and creating natural-looking textures, inspired by the action of time. Subsequently it is oxidized manually and lacquered with a transparent, protective varnish.
Any differences between the product and/or project and samples are not to be considered as defects, but as inherent characteristics deriving from the artisan working process which may result in finishing variations in terms of nuances, oxidation and homogeneity, in particular for products and projects realised in different times.
Differences compared to the sample being viewed are to be considered not as a defect, but as a characteristic of manual processing which may be susceptible to variations in shade and homogeneity.
Usage notes
Images are sometimes zoomed to allow a better comprehension of the finishing. Images are an indication only and do not replace the use of real samples, since it is impossible to guarantee a printed and/or digital reproduction identical to the sample.
