Ripple

The Ripple cabinet is inspired by the fluidity of water and the texture of metal. The result is a sinuous, polymorphous volume in which soft lines generate reflections upon a metal surface shaped by the artisan processes of De Castelli.

Like an object sculpted and polished by the slow, continuous undulating movement of water, the cabinet is a sculpture to admire from all angles, walking around it to follow its defining curves. Though it appears impenetrable, Ripple is a treasure chest that reveals two storage spaces within, hidden from sight thanks to the concave fronts which have been designed to open 180 degrees.
