Handcrafted finishing designed and developed by De Castelli for indoor and outdoor use. Oxidation of the material is then followed by manual brushing to create a “scratched” effect. Subsequently it is lacquered with a protective, transparent varnish.
Any differences between the product and/or project and samples are not to be considered as defects, but as inherent characteristics deriving from the artisan working process which may result in finishing variations in terms of nuances, oxidation and homogeneity, in particular for products and projects realised in different times.
Differences compared to the sample being viewed are to be considered not as a defect, but as a characteristic of manual processing which may be susceptible to variations in shade and homogeneity.
For cleaning and maintenance only use a cotton cloth dampened with water or specific neutral products (with a PH between 6,8 and 7,2) for varnished surfaces. Do not use abrasive cloths, solvents, alcohol or strong detergents (such as anti-limescale products or bleach). Dry the surface thoroughly in case of standing water.
Usage notes
It is recommended to use class AISI 316 of stainless steel in cases of sea front places, in spaces with an elevated presence of salt mists or in harsh environmental situations.
