De Castelli finishes are the result of a handcrafted process that accelerates the natural oxidation of metal, combining advanced technologies and refined manual techniques, a product of know-how passed down over four generations.

It is important to note that slight variations in tone and uniformity compared to the sample on display should not be considered as defects, but rather a testament to the value of craftsmanship, which does not guarantee an identical and repeatable reproduction, especially for production at different times.

Finishing process

The finishing process is the production phase that most characterizes De Castelli products and projects, carried out as the final step. As a result, the aesthetic outcome and feasibility depend on the geometry of the object. In particular, a finish applied to three-dimensional surfaces can differ substantially from flat surfaces.

At the end of the finishing operations, a transparent protective varnish stops the oxidation process, preserving the appearance of metal over time, provided that the correct cleaning and maintenance instructions are followed. The final result becomes permanent: the form and structure of the piece can no longer be altered.

Authenticity

Every product or project made by De Castelli is accompanied by an authenticity document upon delivery, which guarantees its originality, quality, and innovation, certifying the brand’s authorship and the craftsmanship value of the finish and production process.

Applications

De Castelli does not provide semi-finished products such as oxidized metal sheets with finishes, but offers a complete design and custom production service, creating furniture elements, coverings, and tailor-made solutions.

Usage

The finishes offered are ideal for indoor surfaces, with the exception of environments such as shower stalls or areas in direct contact with water.

Important notes

The images of the samples are to be considered purely indicative, as it is not possible to guarantee a printed reproduction that is entirely faithful to the original. The images may be enlarged or reduced to better highlight the details of the finish. Consulting the samples is always recommended when placing an order.

For cleaning, use only a soft cloth dampened with water or specific neutral products (pH between 6.8 and 7.2) for painted and delicate surfaces. Do not use abrasive cloths, solvents, alcohol, or harsh cleaners that could irreparably damage the surface. Be sure to dry the surface thoroughly in case of water stagnation.
