Bronzed DeMaistral
Handcrafted finishing developed and handcrafted by De Castelli for indoor and outdoor use. It involves bronzed coating and manual brushing to create the “scratched” effect. Subsequently it is lacquered with a protective, transparent varnish.
Any differences between the product and/or project and samples are not to be considered as defects, but as inherent characteristics deriving from the artisan working process which may result in finishing variations in terms of nuances, oxidation and homogeneity, in particular for products and projects realised in different times.
Differences compared to the sample being viewed are to be considered not as a defect, but as a characteristic of manual processing which may be susceptible to variations in shade and homogeneity.
For cleaning and maintenance only use a cotton cloth dampened with water or specific neutral products (with a PH between 6,8 and 7,2) for varnished surfaces. Do not use abrasive cloths, solvents, alcohol or strong detergents (such as anti-limescale products or bleach). Dry the surface thoroughly in case of standing water.
Usage notes
The finishing may be used for furnishings, coverings and accessories of various kinds. However, its application on highly wearable surfaces, such as worktops and/or floors, is not recommended.
Images are sometimes zoomed to allow a better comprehension of the finishing. Images are an indication only and do not replace the use of real samples, since it is impossible to guarantee a printed and/or digital reproduction identical to the sample.
