ResidentialThe Villa is located in a fascinating area of Sardinia, in the Gigli district of Porto Cervo Marina. The project developed from the idea of creating a treasure chest, with the intention of connecting the house even more to the sea, concealing its functionality with refined artifices. The precious treasure is represented by the living area, the nucleus and convivial heart of the house, covered with fine wooden boiserie embedding precious brass inlays. From the heart of the house there are glimpses of the sea at dawn and the hills at sunset, which flood the internal space through endless depth.
The brass elements were dreamed, designed and created trying to push the research for maximum refinement and elegance to the limit, without abandoning the inevitable need for cutting-edge technical performance. De Castelli adds a touch of class to the environment, with brass and stainless steel details present both in all the indoor and outdoor dining tables and on the inlays of the boiserie in the living area.
The distinctive metamorphic capacities of metal create their own stylistic patterns even on the simplest of monochrome surfaces. The possibilities offered by the Scomposta and Boiserie wall covering systems ensure a range of highly flexible compositional solutions and meet the needs of those seeking truly original expressive possibilities of the highest quality. Comprising panels of different sizes, the two systems are fully customizable. With the Scomposta system, the panels are mounted onto wall racks. For Boiserie, it is possible to install wooden or aluminum panels covered with De Castelli materials. Whatever the solution chosen by the designer, both systems allow maximum compositional freedom to ennoble surfaces of any size.
