Public spacesFor the Exhibition Re-Generation of Interiors at the University of Milan, the initial colonnade of the Cortile d’Onore provides the structure for a parade of characters celebrating the culture of Sardinia, birthplace of Antonio Marras, author of the I Giganti installation. The columns are transformed into divinities that protect, watch over and guide with their ancient knowledge.
Originally stone, these 8 columns are dressed in metals thanks to De Castelli expertiese, which captures the spirit of the project and has expressed the forms of the “Giants” in layered sheets of stainless steel, copper and brass, working them and enriching them with erosion techniques obtained through the special DeErosion finishing.
