FairIn the exhibition space at the fair, De Castelli presents its new collections: a landscape of stunning sculptural objects that are the maximum expression of the richness of metal and finishes in constant experimentation. Textures that vibrate with light, finishes that add depth and dynamism to furnishings and metal surfaces that reveal an infinite variety of expressions.
Bosque is a vegetal structure, foliage which becomes a room divider and interprets decoration as a living presence, transforming any room into a natural landscape. Echoes of nature are also seen in Floem, a decorative surface inspired by the lightness of lotuses, in which every petal made of metal rests gracefully on the on the wall, giving rise to suspended inflorescence.
The Froissé sideboard interprets brass as if it were fabric, transforming it into a surface with intense three-dimensionality. The same depth is evident in Vault, a ‘vaulted’ console table defined by curves and negative space, balancing flowing lines and geometric structure.
The Esa pendant lamp is another ode to geometry: its hexagonal shape, a symbol of equilibrium and modularity, can be infinitely combined and configured. A graphic motif defines the Saracena hanging console, with sliding fronts, and the minimalist aesthetic of the Outline coffee tables, where profiles in various tones trim the metal, becoming a defining feature of both designs.
The classic fluting of a Greek column was the starting point for Dorica, storage furniture which reinterprets the elegance of classical Greek architecture in a contemporary key. The visual playfulness of its shape is amplified by the new DeFauvé stainless steel finish, an iridescent chromatic variation which begins as polished steel and reaches warm red hues, created via a hand-fired oxidation process.
