Copper: new project scenarios

Special pieces of furniture like reception desks and counters for hotels, bars and restaurants, precious objects for home and collective spaces, surfaces for wall and floor coverings: De Castelli always uses copper for many projects, choosing this element among unique metals in order to transform it for architecture.

Starting from the information coming from the scientific community, we are entering an innovative path by collaborating with university researchers in order to find out a productive solution able to preserve the antibacterial characteristic of copper and its alloys.

In the near future, copper could be used in the healthcare construction sector and in public and residential architecture as an aid to make projects and products aesthetically pleasant and safe at the same time.
